There are 26 major tribes in Arunachal Pradesh and each tribe has its own language. The Losar festival celebrated in Tawang on New Year is a major festival here. Nature is said to have decorated Arunachal Pradesh with its own hands. This is the reason why the Arunachal government is promoting tourism. 60 percent of the state is surrounded by forest. Many rivers and rivulets invite water sports. High mountain, wildlife, rare trees and beautiful scenery are the heritage of the state.
