  • Jaipur, the capital and the largest city of the state of Rajasthan in Northern India was founded by the king of Amer, Maharaja Jai Singh II in 1726 and was named after him. During the rule of Sawai Ram Singh in 1876, the city was painter pink to welcome the Prince of Wales, and since then is also called the “Pink City”. Apart from being a famous tourist destination and a part of the Golden Triangle,  for its architectural marvels, Jaipur is also a host of many international festivals like the Kite Festival, The Elephant Festival, Gangaur and Teej to name a few.

  • With rich cultural heritage, unmatched art, craft, and undisputed artisanal creativity Jaipur has always been in the urban forefront because of its rich legacy. Considered as the first planned city of India, is known for its amazing forts and stupendous palaces. Places like the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Jal Mahal well describes the architectural spectacles of ancient India.

    Distinct artful talents like the Bandhni Art, Tarkashi, Zardari, Miniature Paintings and Shellac Work are trademark of the Mughal and Rajput era that still reflects. The art and culture of Jaipur not only presents us with a holistic view of the culture of Rajasthan, but also displays the rich cultural heritage of India.

    • Jantar Mantar – the observatory was built to cram the movements of the sun and the stars. The large sundial tells the exact time of the day.
    • Hawa Mahal – now a museum, this fine piece of semi-octagonal monument depicts rich Rajput architecture and was made for the women to watch and enjoy processions and other activities.
    • Jal Mahal – built in the center of the famous Man Sagar Lake, is a water palace.
    • City Palace – this citadel is an intermingle of Mughal and Rajput construction. Now a museum, halls like Diwan-E-Aam, Diwan-E-Khaas and Chandra Mahal has been converted into galleries with collection from the ancient Rajasthan era.
    • Cycling Expedition at Nahargarh Fort – enjoy the architectural beauty trip to this palace of a bi-cycle.
    • Elephant ride at Amer Fort – explore the cobbled paths and large gateways of Amer Fort on an elephant.
    • Taste Rajasthan Food at Chauki Dhani – this place offers an entire Rajasthan experience. From camel rides, folk dances, acrobats, elephant rides, boat rides to rich Rajasthan cuisine is all you can experience here.
    • The bazaars of Jaipur – these bazaars offer a whole range of Rajasthan culture to shop from. Be it a piece of jewelry at Johari Bazaar or marble sculpture at Chanpol Bazaar or a wooden handicraft souvenir at the Mirza Ismail Road.
